Appointment of Chris Innis as a Non-Executive

Angus & Ross PLC Angus & Ross plc ('A&R' or 'the Company')
is pleased to announce the appointment today of Christopher
Robert Innis (47) as a non-executive Director.
Mr Innis
is a director of Mining Communications, the publisher of Mining Journal,
having led the successful management buy-in team in 2003. Earlier
he had a successful career in corporate finance with Hambros Bank
before becoming Director of Corporate Strategy of EMAP plc, where
he played a major role in the achievement of the substantial growth
of this diversified media company. Mr. Innis was also a former director
of AIM Resources - which is developing the Perkoa zinc project in
Burkina Faso and seeking to bring it into production - and through
his involvement with the Mining Journal he has built up a considerable
knowledge of the mining industry.
His experience of managing corporate
strategy and delivering growth through mergers and acquisitions means
that he will add a new dimension to the A&R board, as the Company
prepares to move into production from pure exploration.
